Vyrein Arrows

  • All arrowheads are built nearly the same as the other arrows and should pass weapons checks. All arrows are built to meet and exceed Amtgard rules for arrowheads:
    • 1” steel disc used as part of the core blunt
    • Arrowhead face has a diameter of just slightly over 2.5”
    • 4” of foam sits on top of the blunt: 2” closed cell and 2” of open cell
  • Arrowhead covers purchased here are simple arrowhead covers made to fit this specific arrowhead.
    • Although they should fit 2.5” diameter flathead arrows, you’ll likely need to shorten the cover length depending on the size of the flat arrowhead design length.
  • Improper storage when not in use at home or during transport can cause the arrowheads to bend off center. Be sure not to have anything sit on top or put pressure on the arrows long term.
  • If you are purchasing your own arrow shafts, PLEASE REMOVE ANY TARGET OR BROADHEAD TIPS, you will then need to build up about 2-3 inches of the tip of the arrow shaft with tape (strapping or packing tape recommended) to ensure a tight fit and slide the arrow shaft all the way until it touches the steel disc. You should not be able to twist the arrowhead easily from side to side after installation and you should not hear a rattling sound when tapping the side of the arrowhead. If you do, this indicates that there is not enough tape to properly seat the arrowhead onto the arrow shaft.
  • Don’t forget to name your “Ready-to-shoot” arrows!
  • Please be sure to maintain your fletchings as they don’t fly well with missing fletchings! Similar to live-steel target arrows.
  • Depending on your location and due to the nature of the long packaging for 30”+ ready-to-shoot arrows, this may incur additional shipping fees.
